Obituary for Benjamin "Ben" Schoolcraft
Benjamin “Ben” Schoolcraft, 54, of Detroit MI and previously of Clarksburg, WV, passed away May 12, 2017. He was born April 29, 1963, the son of the late Charles Wesley Schoolcraft and Emily Ashes Yeager.
Those left to cherish his memory is wife, Monikue Darcell Rogers; son, Anthony Schoolcraft, WV; daughter, Kylie Schoolcraft, VA; brothers, Paul Schoolcraft, WV and Mark Schoolcraft, VA; sisters, Tina G. Schoolcraft Tenny and Jessica A. Schoolcraft Sigley and several nieces and nephews.
Ben was self-employed and was in the construction business. He was also a truck driver and drove from coast to coast. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed, hunting, fishing and boating.
Per the family’s request Mr. Schoolcraft will be cremated and there will be a private family service Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 1:30 pm. at the Cogar Cemetery.
