Obituary for Harold Gene Singleton

Harold Gene Singleton
Harold Gene Singleton, 87, of Burnsville, WV passed away on November 09, 2016 at Crest View Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jane Lew, WV, following an extended illness. On April 11, 1929 Harold was born in Gem, WV to the late Leo Haymond Singleton. Harold is survived by his wife Shirley Ann (Carson) Singleton.
Harold is survived by children Gerald Singleton and wife Sandra, Harold (Pooge) Singleton and wife Debbie, Brenda Workman and husband Gary, Roy Singleton and companion Kathy Losh, Johnny Singleton and wife Cindy, and Teresa Vaughan and husband Terry. Also surviving are step-daughters Barb Brenwald and husband Darren and Pam White and husband Tim. Also surviving are grandchildren Jared, Stephanie Singleton, Jill Balser and husband Josh, Devin Bohan, Cassie Moats, Selina Singleton, Tracey Willett and Husband Dennis,Justin Butcher wife Darlene, James Adams, Josh Adams and wife Tiffany, Dakota & Savannah Workman. Also surviving are great grandchildren Carly Singleton, Lily Balser, Shy Bohan, Jasmine Adams, Olivia and Ophelia Butcher, and Mallory and Sydney Willett. Step grandchildren, Timmy White and wife Tosha, Jada, Joshlyn Brenwald, Maryanna White, step great-grandchildren Arianna and Brook White. Also surviving are brothers and sisters Debbie McPherson, Bill Singleton, and Judy Singleton and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was a Truck driver, he could drive anything and hauled all kinds of different items. He accompanied his children on activities such as boating, go-cart racing, car racing and was always the proud father.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 13, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delmas Singleton officiating. Following services Harold Gene Singletons wishes for cremation will be honored.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Burnsville Fire Department or the Burnsville Community Building. Memories and stories may be shared with the family at stokcertpaletti.com.
