Obituary for Karron Lake (Pruett)
Karron Pruett Lake, 65, of Ireland, WV passed away April 20, 2016 in Georgia at the home of her daughter, Robin Crane, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 3, 1950, in Bluefield, VA, to the late Edward William Pruett and Audrey Austin Pruett. She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Lake and one grandchild.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donn J. Lake; daughter, Donna Browne (David), LA Porte, TX, son, Troy Lake (Rena), Largo Vista, TX, daughter, Robin (Steve) Crane, Zebulon, GA, daughter-in-law, Jasmine Lake, Grand Prarie, TX, daughter, Jennifer Lake, Ireland, WV, daughter, Renee Lake, Huntington, WV; brother, William Pruett, Deer Park, TX; sisters, Joyce Jent (David), Deer Park, TX, Debbie Westbrook, Pasadena, TX and Judy (Gary) Brown, Pasadena, TX. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Karron was a member of the Falls Run United Methodist Church. She possessed many wonderful qualities. She was smart, faithful and always enjoyed helping people. She also enjoyed planning and organizing events in the community, volunteering in the school and making memories with friends and family. Karron was a wonderful cook who believed in making everything from scratch and whose family and friends enjoyed her style of cooking.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner, Flatwoods, WV. The service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Falls Run United Methodist Church with the Reverend Duane Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Flatwoods, Cemetery, Flatwoods, WV.
