Sheila Lynn  Hamric (Woods)
Sheila Lynn Hamric, 67, of Heaters, WV went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2014. She was born on September 5, 1947. Sheila was the daughter of Eugene and Chessie (Gill) Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Woods.
Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Hamric. Also surviving are daughter, Christine (Mike) Cool; son, Kevin Hamric (partner, Rebekah Call) ; grandchildren, Jasmine Leake, Camylle Leake, Michaela Cool, Sophia Cool and Zane Cool; brothers, Clark Woods (Dianne), Parker Woods; sister, Carla Williams (Allan).
Sheila carried an influential presence within her community. She had retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. She was an active member of the Heaters United Methodist Church, serving as treasurer and secretary. Sheila enjoyed reading, gardening and loved her family. She stayed involved in the daily lives of her children and grandchildren.
Sheila is an inspiration and shining light to her family, friends, and all who knew her; she will be dearly missed. She was a faithful, caring and loving person, who always thought of others before herself.
Friends may call at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Chapel with Reverend Eric Veltre officiating. Interment will follow services in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens. Words of Comfort and memories may be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti.com
