Obituary for Dewan Lea Dunbar (Flowers)
Dewan Lea (Flowers) Dunbar 49, of Sutton, WV passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Braxton Memorial Hospital. Dewan was born on August 31, 1971 in Clarksburg, WV to the late James Melvin Flowers and Ethel Kathleen (Jones) Flowers. She is also preceded in death by son Billy Dunbar Jr., brothers James Marshall Flowers, James Melvin Flowers Jr., and sister Connie J. Adams.
Dewan was a crafty soul, she enjoyed crocheting, making pillows, and just arts and crafts in general.
Left to cherish her memory is her fiancé Robert Knight whom she shared six memory filled years with. Sons Jeremy Dunbar (Cortney), Cody Dunbar, Matthew Dunbar, and Cory Dunbar. Daughters Ashley Stout (Jimmy) and Stephanie Maze (Tim). She is also survived by her sister Thelma Edgell, sixteen grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 for visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Rd. Flatwoods, WV 26621. A service will follow at 2:00 pm. in the Stockert-Paletti Chapel with Pastor Ryan Skidmore officiating. Interment will follow at the Tichenel Cemetery in Corley, WV.
