Obituary for Pamela Jo Skelly
Pamela Jo Skelly, 59, of Glenville, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 27, 1962 and was the daughter of the late John M. Underwood and Wilma (Taylor) Underwood.
Pamela was the Mayor of Flatwoods where she cared for the community. She devoted many years to her job as security at Weyerhaeuser as well. Pamela had a love for cats and dogs and enjoyed fishing, drawing, and painting.
She will be reunited with her partner, Rolland “Pod” Miller whom she shared many memory filled years with. She is also preceded in death by her sister Bonnie White.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons Michael Fleming of Flatwoods, Cadence Miller of Glenville, daughter Nastasha Foster, granddaughter; Makayla Stewart, and nieces and nephews; Makya Bradshaw, Carrie Raney, John Bradshaw, Christy Bradshaw, and many more. Brothers and sisters; Virginia (Carl) Bradshaw, Connie Waugh, Verice White, Vernon Underwood, Conard Underwood, Matthew Underwood, Robert Underwood, Ronald Underwood.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Visitation is from 5:00 to 6:00 with the service following at 6:00 in the Stockert-Paletti Chapel, Reverend Carl L. Bradshaw will be officiating.
