Charles R. “Sam” Dempsey, 57, of Barberton, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 27th, 2021. He was born on December 10, 1963 to the late Charles Franklin and Shirley (Lewis) Dempsey.
He was a member of the United States Army and spent time in Honduras, Hawaii, Colorado, and Kentucky. He came out of the Army and worked in parts management and was a truck driver. Charles was also of Christian faith.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 37 years, Regena “Jena” (Gregory) Dempsey, daughter; Danielle Berry of Gassaway, WV, Son; Jeremy (Shirley) Dempsey of Clarksburg, WV, Grandchildren; Ryleigh, Skylar, Alianna, Grayson, and Lucas. He is survived by his sisters Charlotte Coffman of Sutton, Connie Westfall of Barberton, Ohio, and brother Jim Westfall of Barberton, Ohio.
Mr. Dempsey’s wishes are to be cremated, there will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Condolences can be sent to Stockert-Paletti.com.
