Ora Arlene (Flint) Wright, 69, of Red House, WV, formally of Flatwoods, WV, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 at Thomas Memorial Hospital due to complications of COVID-19. Ora was born in Flatwoods, WV on June 30th, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Arch Flint and Mary (Cutlip) Flint. She is preceded in death by her husband John “Tex” Wright who she married on January 12th, 1973. She is also preceded in death by her brothers William “Bill” Flint, Henry (Johnny) Flint, Jim Flint, Burton Flint, and Clyde Flint, and sisters Colleen Hamrick and Florine Adkins,
Ora is survived by her daughters; Susan Rabel and her husband Lane of South Charleston, WV and Mary Carroll of Red House, WV. She is also survived by grandsons; Jeremy Carroll, Johnathan Rabel, and Will Rabel. Also surviving Mrs. Wright is brother Earl “Monk” Flint, and sisters Marlene Fitzwater of Heaters, WV and Wavelene Leone of Poca, West Virginia.
Mrs. Wright was a member of the Heaters United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the Wings of Faith Church band. Ora enjoyed baking and decorating wedding and character cakes along with gardening. Ora greatly valued her time with family, especially with her grandsons.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 from 12-2p.m. at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Corner Road, Flatwoods WV, 26621. Funeral services will follow visitation in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Tony Clay officiating. Interment will follow in the Heaters Cemetery where she will be reunited with her husband John “Tex” Wright.
