Obituary for Charlotte A Wooddell
Charlotte A. Jordan Wooddell, 81, of Corydon, IN, passed away at 9:50 am on June 17, 2020 in Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Wooddell was born in Flatwoods, WV on April 16, 1939 to the late J. Coy Jordan and Ruby Johnson Jordan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Howard Gene Jordan, Earl Glen Jordan, Ronald Bert Jordan and sister: Karen Jordan Heater.
Charlotte graduated from Sutton High School in 1957 and was a former employee of Eastern Airlines and Mid-State Marina. She was a member of the Southern Methodist Church in Corydon, IN.
Charlotte was loved and will be missed by family and friends, especially by her husband Clyde.
Charlotte is survived by her husband: Clyde K. Wooddell, whom she married on May 19, 1975; daughter: Marcia J. Woodell Bader and husband Jerry; step-daughters: Daniella A. Wooddell and Angella K. Wooddell Hartsfield and husband Dennis; step-sons: Michael W. Wooddell and wife Wanda and Christopher K. Wooddell and wife Jennifer; brother: John David Jordan and wife Barbara Morrison Jordan; grandchildren: Sean, Samantha, Andy, Ashley, Andrew and Zach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family received friends at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Rd, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 1:00-3:00 pm on Wednesday June 24, 2020. Funeral Services were held at 3:00 pm on June 24, 2020 with Pastor Jim Malick officiating. Interment followed at the Morrison Ridge Cemetery in Sutton, WV.
