Obituary for Betty Sue Moore (Mollohan)
Betty Sue Mollohan Moore, 56, 400 North Hill Street, Sutton, WV passed on April 15, 2020, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV after a courageous battle with kidney and bone cancer. She was born in Gassaway, WV on March 10, 1964 to the late HJ and Angela Withrow Mollohan.
Betty is survived by her son and love of her life: Herbert Brent Moore and wife Margaret of Copen, WV; and special granddaughters: Azailea, Brailey, Josephine, and Rebecca; sisters: Susan (Bill) Lunceford of Hacker Valley, WV, Cathy (Roger) Duke of Chester, WV, and Wanda (George) Snyder of Weston, WV; brothers: Michael (Suzie) Mollohan of Parkersburg, WV, Robert T. Mollohan of Flatwoods, WV, Robert B. Edwards of Flatwoods, WV and Billy S. Coffman of Gassaway, WV; her biological mother: Elizabeth Ann Holcomb of Summersville, WV; and her two little dogs Zip and Bella.
Betty graduated from Greenbrier East High School in 1983. She was a lifelong animal lover and a very good cook. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and other crafts.
Due to the current situation with Covid-19, a private family viewing will be held at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Rd, Flatwoods, WV 26621 on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held at the Lunceford Mollohan Family Cemetery with Reverend John McQuain officiating.
