Laura Mae Bright Williams, 82, of Newville, WV passed on December 9, 2019 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands Creed Bright and Garl Williams.
Laura is survived by children: Creed Bright and wife Jennifer, John Scoblic and wife Tracy, Michael Scoblic, Emmalie Maxwell and husband Johnny, and Tina Scoblic. Laura is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Laura was very proud to be a member of the Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church. She enjoyed partaking in Christmas plays and other church activities. Laura spent time working for hospice, crocheting, and gardening. She made the best home-cooked meals. Laura was a happy and loving woman who took great pride in her family and church.
Friends and family may call at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Rd, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John McQuain officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
