Elma “Grace” Mick Westfall, 91, of Falls Mills, WV was called home to Heaven on December 4, 2019. Elma was born in Falls Mills, WV to parents Nicholas and Stella Mick. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands: Buddy Modesitt and Charles Westfall; sons: Thomas James Modesitt and Buddy Junior Modesitt; sisters: Opal Mick and Pauline Mick; brothers Delbert Mick and Arthur Mick; and step grandson Clayton McCartney.
Grace is survived by granddaughters: Nancy Modesitt Williams and Elma Modessit; grandsons: James Modesitt and Richard Modesitt; step granddaughters: Evelyn Miller and husband Billy, Darlene Putnam, and Doris McMcartney; and step grandsons John McCartney and wife Loretta and Roy McCartney.
Grace was a simple woman with a kind heart and gentle soul. She had unwavering faith in The Lord. She loved to garden; she grew both vegetable and flower gardens. Grace took great pride in the crop she raised. She canned and froze the fruits and vegetables she grew. Grace loved animals especially cats.
Family will receive friends on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26221. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Falls Mills Cemetery.
