Regina Ann Mattson, 81, of Burnsville, WV passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. She was born January 19, 1938 at the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Quantico, VA. to the late Dana Keller and Elizabeth (Underwood) Keller.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Albert Mattson whom she married on December 14, 1978 and was married to for forty years. Also surviving is son, Douglas McMillian (Traci) AZ; daughter, Susan Miller, OR; sister, Diana Williams, (Mark) AZ; grandchildren Leah, Hannah, and Conner.
She taught students in Detroit, MI and enjoyed painting Toll. She was also an avid outdoorsman whether she was fishing, camping or just sitting outside enjoying the outdoors. She was a very good bowler and her high score was 288. She also enjoyed cats and dogs, but above all she loved people and treasured the times she spent with her family and friends. She was very empathic to people and their lives.
Per Mrs. Mattson’s request she will be cremated and there will be no service. Condolences can be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti.com.
