Obituary for Glen F. Wine
Glen F. Wine, 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, April 9, 2019.
Mr. Wine was born on April 2, 1937 in Copen, WV, a son of Cecil and Florence (Carlson) Wine. Glen was an employee at Youngstown Steel Door for nearly 40 years. He was also the proud owner of Pacaw’s Lakeside Inn on Evan’s Lake.
Glen enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid gardener, enjoying both flower and vegetable gardens, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his long-time companion Joan Griffith; his children Teresa (David) Kunder, Timothy (Debbie) Wine, Michael Wine and Sue (Guy) Bloom; 5 granddaughters; 5 great grandchildren; his brothers Jack (Sue) Wine and Roger (Dee) Wine; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wine was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons Adam McBride and Timothy G. Wine Jr, and his brothers Jimmie and Vinton Wine.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Stockert- Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621, with the family receiving friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service.
