Charles “Charlie” Kevin Dean, 43, of Heaters, WV passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Braxton County Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He was born February 12, 1976 at Weston, WV to the late Austin Nathan Dean and Vera (Slaughter) Dean who survives. Also preceding him in death was his older brother, James (Styx) Dean.
Including his mother, he is survived by sisters, Kathryn Sillman and husband Carl, Falls Mill, WV, Deborah Cooke, NC and Elizabeth Potts, Heaters, WV; brothers David Dean, MO and Robert Dean, Kanawha Run; two very special nephews who helped care for him over the years, Dayton Potts and Dwayne Potts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Charlie enjoyed the Price is Right and football.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral cost.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl Cayton officiating. Internment will then follow in the Dean Family Cemetery, Pickles Fork.
