Obituary for Ronnie Dean Lesher

Ronnie Dean Lesher, 69, of Sutton, WV was called Home on Thursday, February, 21, 2019 after a courageous fight with Lung Cancer. He was born in Logan, WV son of the late Albert and Katherine (Smith) Lesher. In addition to his parents Ronnie was proceeded in death by daughter Rhonda Lesher on February 23, 1990, sister Sharon Cole, and brother Timothy Lesher.
Ronnie is survived by daughter Sarah West and husband Jeff of Sutton, WV and son Ronnie Dean Lesher, Jr. and wife Rachel of Warren, OH Michelle Bishop of Sutner, SC. Also surviving are grandchildren Stephanie Ellis, Christel Floyd, Faith Carpenter, Sophia Swiney, Madelyn Swiney, Jeilyn West, Makalia West, Ryan Lesher Dylan Cox, and Catlin Cox In addition to his children and grandchildren Mr. Lesher is also survived by siblings Kathy Sheets of Myrtle Beach, and Jack Lesher of Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was a Baptist by Faith and worked for a number of years for the Carbide Recreation Camp working as Director of Maintenance and later serving as President, and he also worked as an over the road truck driver for freightliner. Ronnie loved the Summer Time and being outdoors he loved go four wheeling, to camping, relaxing by fire at night, he loved Country Music, loved to go back roading, and loved to jump on his Harley and feel the wind down his back. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ronnie biggest joy was his finding his Faith.
Friends may visit with the family for a time of fellowship on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. A Memorial Service will follow fellowship at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Stump presiding over the services. The Family will hold a service in which Mr. Lesher’s Cremains will be returned to The Lord. Comforting words may be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti.com.
