Richard Keith Ratliff, 64, of Oil Creek Road, Orlando, WV passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 30, 1954 in Sutton, WV to the late John and Reba (Conrad) Ratliff.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Leta (Thayer) Ratliff; son, Rick and wife, Macy and Donny and wife, Jennifer all of Orlando, WV; daughter, April Thayer and companion Bub Allen of Orlando, WV; brothers, Ronnie and Randy Ratliff of Burnsville, WV; sisters, Libby Swanson, Martha and husband, Junior Pritt of Orlando, WV; grandchildren, Dylan Ratliff, Brayden Ratliff and Richard Ratliff, III, Jayden Thayer, Jordan Thayer, Cody Pritt, Ally Pritt and several nieces and nephews.
Richard enjoyed all WVU sports especially football. When football season started he would do his best to never miss a game. He was a grounds man for Asplundh for many years. But his main love came from spending time with his family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 12-2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Pastor Delmas Singleton and Pastor Jennings Dancy officiating.
