Bruce Lynn Garrett, II, 45 of Cedarville, WV passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at his home. He was born January 24, 1973 in Farmington, MI to Bruce Garrett and Bonnie (Riffle) Garrett who survive. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Arch Riffle and Earl and Saide (Riffle) Barker; Paternal Grandparents, Loda Guy Garrett and Tressie (Miney) Garrett.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla and Cody Buckhannon, of Copen, WV; sisters, Birdie Miller, Burnsville, WV and Sherry Mackey (Mac), Millersburg, OH; longtime friend, George Spongule, Cedarville, WV, several nieces, nephews and cousins. His companion who will miss his very much is his dog, Cookie.
Bruce graduated from Braxton County High School Class of 1991. Bruce had many interest and enjoyed doing many different things. He loved to hunt deer, turkey and rabbit. He would spend many hours going fishing for trout, catfish, musky and anything else he could catch. He was an excellent cook and was extremely good at grilling ribs and chicken on the grill. He loved to go to ramp dinners and was very fond of ramps. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors just riding his 4x4 and enjoying nature. Some of his favorite flowers were yellow and pink roses and lilies.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m, in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bud Cochran officiating.
