Roger Lee Williams, Sr. went home to meet our Lord and Savior September 10, 2018 surrounded by his family at his home.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Candice Sue Williams, whom he married September 17, 1983 and his son, Roger Lee Williams, Jr.; three step-daughters, Barbara Ann McCartney, Weston, WV, Catherine Rittenhouse and husband, Chaz of Rag Run Road, Weston, WV and Kimberly Williams of Wildcat., WV. Also surviving is foster daughter, Laura James, grandson, Caleb Williams of Wildcat, WV; 12 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren; half-brother, Travis McCray, Wildcat, WV; half-sister Robin Louise and James (Bill), Falls Mill, WV; several cousins and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rupert Williams, his mother, Harriett Bennett, one daughter, Angel Dawn Williams, step-son, James Patrick McCartney and one step-great grandson, Bentley James Watson.
There will be a time of fellowship held at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV, Monday, September 17, 2018 from 12-1 p.m. with a Memorial Service following at 1:00 p.m. from the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Chapel with Pastor Earl Cayton officiating. His final wishes of cremation were carried out.
