Kevin “Porky” Showalter, 43, of Sutton, WV passed away July 9, 2018 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV. He was born August 5, 1974 at Gassaway, WV to the late Lynn Howard Showalter and Sandra Sue (Bright) Showalter, who survives.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Lynn (Hamilton) Showalter; daughters, Sierra H. (Harrison) Rogers, Newville, WV, Kirsten P. (Jackson) Rogers, Frametown, WV, Emily M. (Logan) Thompson, Newville, WV; brother Melvin H. (Lori) Showalter, Newville, WV and sister, Regina (Roger) Friend, Newville, WV. Also surviving is granddaughter, Lilian R. Gross and nephew, Cameron Showalter.
Kevin enjoyed hunting deer, riding around on his 4-wheeler and playing cards and drinking beer. Most of all he enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family.
Family will receive friends at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Flatwoods Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eric Veltre officiating.
