James "Jim" Lee  Huffman
James “Jim” Lee Huffman, 75, of Cedarville, WV passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at the Glenville Genesis Health Care Center in Glenville, WV. He was born June 29, 1942 to the late Ernest Huffman and Ida (Riffle) Huffman. Also preceding him in death was son, Timothy Huffman, brothers, Russell, Carl, Junior, Roy and Ralph Huffman and sister, Rena Godfrey.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann Nicholson Huffman, Cedarville, WV; daughter, Kimberly Arnett and husband, Danny, Fairmont, WV; son, Bryan Huffman, Cedarville, WV; grandsons, Patrick and Dustin Arnett, Fairmont, WV; granddaughter, Stephanie Huffman, Keyser, WV. Also surviving are sisters, Martha Godfrey, Burnsville, WV, Mary Keller, Wheeling, WV, Bonnie Riffle and husband, Larry, Copen, WV; brothers Raymond Huffman and wife, Rosalee, Burnsville, WV and Chester Huffman and wife, Betty, Gem, WV and several nieces and nephews.
He worked in the coal industry as a coal miner for Island Creek Coal Company and was a Baptist by faith. He loved farming and had goats, horses and cattle. He self-taught himself to play the guitar and the french harp. He loved to attend auctions and was always looking for a good trade. Most of all he loved his family and treasured the time that he was able to spend with them.
Family will receive friends at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Flatwoods Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 11-1 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Funeral Services will follow in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cofer “Bud” Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Burnsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Burnsville, WV.
