Obituary for Jo Ann Robinson

Jo Ann (Ware) Robinson, 69 of Ireland, WV Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the comfort of her home. She was born on August 28, 1948 in Sutton, WV and grew up on Green Hill, WV. She is the daughter of the late Raymond Ware and Reta (Boggs) Ware. On May 7, 1966 she married her late husband Jimmie C. Robinson and they sent 51 years together. In addition to her parents and husband also preceding her in death sister, Mildred Brown and baby sister, Diana Lynn Ware and foster brother, Jumbo Jefferies.
Jo Ann leaves behind her family, close friends, and those of her Church. She is survived by sons Jimmie J. Robinson (Becca) of Weirton, WV, Mark Allen Robinson (Genifer) of Walkersville, WV, Dillon Robinson of Ireland, WV. Grandchildren Samantha Kerr (Kegan), Logan and companion (Kiana), Chelsea (Danny Sartin), Noah, and Macaiah, five great-grandchildren Ally, Gannon, Havan, Hunter, and Jayce. Also surviving are a niece, who she thought of as a sister, Carol Williams (Dewey) of Falls Mills, WV and brother, Harold Ware and (Opal) of Horner, WV and a special friend, Nettie Gregory. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Eulaine Lake (Hilbert), Falls Mill, WV.
Jo Ann attended Victory Apostolic Church in Ireland, WV where she attended regularly. She grew extremely close to those of her Church including Pastor Jason Allen and family and her longtime friend, Linda Allen who will miss her dearly. She worked for the United Postal Service in Ireland, WV, Boyle Funeral Home in Weston, Braxton County Health Care Nursing Home, Sutton, WV and soon started fostering many children whom she grew to love. She was extremely fond of Aisha Walth and husband, (James). She was a homemaker who loved to cook, bake, crocheting, sewing, going out in her garden for hours at a time, sitting on her front porch watching the birds come and go, watching cooking shows and listening to Gospel singing. She helped to raise some of her grandchildren. Her grandchildren will miss her more than words can say. She was very well known for her outstanding home cooked meals and her holiday dinners. She was always a great guidance and taught everyone about her Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandbabies who will live on through the wonderful memories of their Mamma.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Falls Mill Cemetery for a Graveside service with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. Interment will follow graveside services. Mrs. Robinson Request for Immediate Burial has been honored. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the family.
