Travis Levi Blake 26 of Exchange WV passed away on July 22, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a Bone Marrow Transplant. He was the son of Jerry and Thelma (Chub) Blake of Exchange and the brother of Justin Blake and wife Sarah of Morgantown, WV. He graduated from Braxton County High School in May 2010.
He was a enthusiastic volunteer for the Braxton County Middle School's basketball and football team from his 5th grade school yr until this yr. Which would've been 15 yrs. Travis received an award for most hrs volunteering at the Middle School from Denver Drake.
Travis enjoyed staying home playing videos and keeping up with the technology on all electronics that came out. He also enjoyed his time blding mechanical lego with power functions. His favorite pass time was to hang out with his long time close friend Kim West and new found friend Tim Frame, wife Maresa and their two daughters Megan and Moriah. Travis also liked to visit family down the Rd from us.
In addition to his immediate family members, he will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his special friends mentioned above. A special thanks go out to all that came to Morgantown and visited or called, in the two months that we were there. And to my two sisters that spent nights up there with us. We appreciate all thoughts, prayers and even cards that were sent during and after.
There will be a celebration of his life on his birthday September 23, 2017. Family and friends are invited to come to the Heaters Community Blding between 1pm to ? to share stories about Travis and how he touched each and everyone's heart. Some refreshments will be served. Bring your favorite covered dish and join in.
