Kelly Marie DeWitt, 41, departed this life January 21, 2017 at her home. She was born May 24, 1975 at Lorain, OH the daughter of late Roger Crislip. Her mother, Susan Bennett (Ramsey) survives along with her husband, Larry, Rosedale, WV.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Edward DeWitt whom she married on January 6, 2000; sons, Mark DeWitt, Sun Valley, ID, Dillion Crislip (Marilyn), Sutton, WV and Joshua Dewitt, home, Flatwoods, WV. Also surviving is sister Rebekah Davis (Rob), Summersville, WV.
She was employed by the FBI as a fingerprint examiner which is probably why she enjoyed reading horror novels and watching the CI Investigation channel. She especially enjoyed Stephen King novels and movies. She was a mother, caretaker and homemaker who loved animals and plants. She could do anything she put her mind to. Those who knew her knew she was a very unselfish person and that she was a good cook and loved going online for different recipes.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 4-8 p.m. She will then be cremated and there will be no service. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at stockert-paletti.com.
