Obituary for Rodney "Pete" James Allen
Rodney “Pete” James Allen, 31, of Cleveland, OH passed away October 22, 2016 unexpectedly.
He was born January 19, 1985 in Cleveland, OH. He is preceded in death by his father, Claude Eugene Allen; brothers, Johnny, Kevin and Larry Joe Allen and sister, Lisa Gay Marie Allen.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Pearl McCartney; brothers, Charlie and Claude Allen Jr. both of Burnsville, WV. Also surviving is nephews, Kevin and Charles Allen and niece, Crissy Allen.
Rodney was a Methodist by faith and was a work-alcoholic. When he did relax he enjoyed playing video games, baseball, basketball and all kinds of sports and drawing. He exceeded in playing horseshoes and won 17 games in one day. Everyone always wanted to be on his team. He will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Delmas Singleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens Heater, WV.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
