Obituary for Larry Joe Allen
Larry Joe Allen, 42, of Burnsville, WV passed away March 19, 2016 at West Virginia University of Medicine, Morgantown, WV.
He was born July 12, 1973 in Cleveland, OH. He is preceded in death by his father, Claude Eugene Allen; brothers, Johnny and Kevin Allen and sister, Lisa Gay Marie Allen.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnna Allen; his mother, Virginia (McCartney) Allen of Burnsville, WV; son, Kevin Eugene Allen of Cleveland, OH, WV; brothers, Claude Allen Jr., of Burnsville, WV, Charles Allen of Burnsville, WV and Rodney Allen of Cleveland, OH.
Larry was a great fan of sports. He especially enjoyed, watching baseball, football and racing. Larry loved the outdoors and loved to go deer hunting. He was a big fan of bluegrass music and listened to it often.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 26, 2016 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2016 at 11:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Delmas Singleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens Heater, WV.
