Obituary for Madge G. Kincaid (Wimer)

Madge G. (Wimer) Kincaid, 90, of Walkersville, WV, Went to be with the Lord, on Monday, November 17, 2014 at County Living Private Care Home in Jane Lew, WV. Madge was born on April 2, 1924 in Gregory, WV to the late Luther Wimer and Rebecca (Cogar) Wimer Brown. On November 17, 1940 she married Burl Kincaid who preceded her in death on March 7, 2005.
Madge is survived by two sons Waymon Kincaid of Walkersville and Lonnie Kincaid of Bablin and two daughters Geneva Bruffey of Williamstown, WV, and Jeannie Moats and husband Van of Walkersville. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is special care giver Sherry Sellers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Oliver and Lawrence Wimer and sisters Mabel Williams, Thelma Lowther, Eva McCartney, Della Prince.
Madge loved her family and she loved to cook for them. She also loved the outdoors, she loved to fish and hunt. Madge also liked helping others she had several foster children and was a caregiver for a number of years. Madge was a member of the Elijah Chapel Church in Ireland and attended the Victory Apostolic Church in Ireland.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm from the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. Interment will be held in the Kincaid Cemetery in Ireland. Words of comfort and fond memories may be shared with the family at stockert-paletti.com
