Stephen Reed “Steve” Kniceley, 65, of Sutton WV entered into his eternal rest on Sunday, June 3, 2018 as a result of injuries received in an auto accident.
He was born on March 26, 1953, a son of the late Scott and Alice (Harris) Kniceley of Sutton, WV. Steve was a loving father, brother, papaw and a friend to all who knew him. He as a truck driver and a mechanic by trade, as well as a rural mail carrier on the family route for many years. He retired from his business “Kniceley’s Towing and Auto Service” in 2000. He had a passion for old cars and was well known for his love of “gently used” items.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley. Loved ones left behind to cherish his memory are son, Randy (Christina) Kniceley of Flatwoods, WV; daughter, Melissa (Ralph) Marshall of Flatwoods, WV; grandchildren, Randy Lee Kniceley of Little Birch, WV, Alyson Jade Marshall of Flatwoods, WV and Brenna Hoard of Little Birch, WV; sisters, Avonda (Mike) Stewart of Burnsville, WV and Aerwanna (David) Frame of Flatwoods, WV; nephew Jamie (Missy) Stewart of Burnsville, WV and a niece, Danielle Helmick and Companion, Robert Quinn of Sutton, WV. Also, surviving him are several Aunts, Uncles, Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and Friends along with his faithful dog, Nu-Nu whom he was seldom seen without.
Friends will be received Tuesday, June, 5, 2018 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm. with Reverend Earl Cayton officiating.
