Obituary for Jimmie C. Robinson

Jimmie C.  Robinson
Jimmie C. Robinson, 74, of Ireland, WV passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was born on August 06, 1943 in Falls Mill, WV. He was son of the late Olen Dalson Robinson and Rita Ann (Campbell) Robinson. On May 7, 1966 he married JoAnn (Ware) Robinson and they spent 51 years together. He was proceeded in death by brothers Melvin, Vello, and Jake Robinson
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons Jimmie J. Robinson (Becca) of Weirton, WV, Mark Allen Robinson (Genifer) of Ireland, WV, Dillon Robinson of Ireland, WV. Grandchildren Samantha Kerr (Kegan), Logan and companion (Kiana), Chelsea (Danny Sartin), Noah, and Macaiah, three great-grandchildren Ally, Gannon, Jayce. Also surviving are sisters Rosella Rucker of TN and Eulaine Lake (Hilbert) of Ireland, WV.
He was a traveling IBEW Electrician and worked away from home all around up and down the East Coast. He worked at the Nuclear Power Plants and his last job was the Federal Prison in Glenville, WV and the Toyota Plant in Buffalo, WV. He helped friends and neighbors, and family with anything they ever needed. He was one of a kind but was always there for anyone. He could make anything and loved piddling around the house. His favorite hobbies were watching Westerns, listening to bluegrass, going to bluegrass festivals, ramp dinners, hunting, fishing, and taking his dog “sweetie: Cassie on buggy rides. He loved talking to his best buddy Lane Bowyer on the phone for hours a day. He enjoyed spending time with his sweetie Ally great-granddaughter and “Buckshot” Gannon Great-grandson, children of granddaughter Samantha Robinson Kerr (Kegan) of Crawford, WV.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Falls Mill Cemetery for a Graveside service with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. Interment will follow graveside services. Mr. Robinson Request for Immediate Burial has been honored. In lieu of flowers donating can be made to the family.
