Donna Jean (Lake) Brown, 62, of Keiths Run Road, Ireland passed away at her home in Ireland on February 21, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Weston, WV on December 3, 1955 to the late Leo Hilbert Lake and Verma Ilene (Lowther) Lake. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Rodney Brown and a brother, William Lake.
Surviving her are children, Randall Scott Brown and wife Loria, of Fairview, WV and Mac Travis Brown and wife Kelly, of Landsburg, WV; brothers and sisters, Hilbert Lake and wife, Eulaine of Ireland, WV, Wallace Lake and wife, Cheryl of Franklinville, NC and Betty Duncan and husband, William of Weston, WV; grandchildren, Gavin Brown, Owen Brown, Emma Brown, Kassidea Mathews-Foley, Evan Jett and Noah Jett. Also surviving are special nieces, Melissa Blake and husband, George of Weston, WV and Ashley Woodford and husband, Andrew, of Virginia Beach, VA.
Donna was a very generous and giving person who was an avid Mountaineer fan. She loved watching football and basketball games. She was a hard worker, but always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to have a good time and especially enjoyed shopping with family and friends. She was a business owner, but loved to cook when she had the time. She loved her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with the family presiding over.
