Obituary for Charles "Bud" E. Robison

Charles E. “Bud” Robison, 85, of Strongsville, OH passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2018 at the Willowwood Care Center of Brunswick. He was born on October 13, 1932 in Heaters, WV to the late Charlie Robison and Pearl Prince.

He is survived by his wife, Macil M. Davis Robison, whom he was married to for 60 years; children, Harold Robison and Sheila Clement both of Strongsville, OH. Also surviving is sister, Charlotte from Kansas, 2 grandchildren, Jeffery (Jenni) Clement and Crystal (Adam) Pingitore and 8 great grandchildren.

Bud served his Country in the United States Army during the Korea War and was retired from General Motors, in Parma, OH. He was a man of strong faith in his belief in God. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He was a very modest man and loved helping those around him. He would sit in his garage for hours and watch the different cars go by or go riding around in his golf cart. He was a farmer and loved his animals. He had ponies, cows, dogs, and even a raccoon. He was especially fond of his daughter’s dog, Dozer. When he summered in WV, he would love to sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds that he fed faithfully.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral Services will follow in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Wilma Jackson officiating.
