Harley “George” Lee Conrad, 71, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home. He was born November 27, 1945 at Morgantown, WV to the late Jennings Bryan Conrad and Mamie Kathryn (William) Conrad. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Ollie “Bump” Estellion Lloyd, Bobby “Bob” Richard Conrad, Earl James Conrad and Roy “Stub” Gene Conrad; sister, Retha Mae Conrad.
Surviving are great nephews, Shawn Conrad, Napier and Billy Joe Conrad and Shaquilla, Craigsville, WV; caregiver, Lynette Webb; several nieces and nephews and friends.
Harley enjoyed farming and caring for his many animals, pigs, chickens, cattle, and work horses. He loved to hunt and fish and tell stories to his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and was never inside unless he was eating or sleeping.
Harley “George” Lee Conrad final wishes are being honored and his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Words of Comfort and fond memories can be shared with the family at stockert-paletti.com
