Chris Gail Wine, 40, of Copen, WV passed away on September 10, 2017. He was born in Buckhannon, WV on August 20, 1977 to the late Stanley Wine who preceded him in death on September 1, 2017 and Mary Kimberly, O’Donald, of Killbuck, OH who survives. Also surviving is step-mother Betty (May) Wine. Also preceding him in death was his grandparents Elmer and Katherine Wine; his uncle Michael Wine.
Chris is survived by brothers Brandon Wine of Cedarville, Sturgis May of Copen, sisters Christine Jackson & Eric of Jane Lew and Stevie May of Copen. Also surviving are Uncles and Aunts Steve Wine (Pam), Burnsville, Mark Wine (Suzie), Burnsville and John Wine (Becky), Buckhannon; Mary Mace (David), Burnsville, Linda Finchman (Bobby), Clarksburg and Nancy Skinner (Mark),
Chris enjoyed playing pool and watching dirt races. Most of all he enjoyed the time that he was able to spend with his family and friends.
Friends will be received Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621, from 11-1 pm. Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Verton officiating. Interment will follow in the Wine Cemetery.
