Obituary for Thelma Mae Lively

Thelma Mae  Lively
Thelma Mae Lively, (90) of Heaters went to be with the Lord on Friday May 5, 2017. She was born on October 4, 1926. She was the daughter of Edna Mae (Skidmore) and William Finley Hutchison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Earlie Morgan Allen and Charles Odus Lively and her brother, Henry Hugh Hutchison.

Thelma graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School in Clarksburg and was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service. As a life-long member of Berry Fork United Methodist Church, she will always be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, her love for family and friends and her kindness to all.

She is survived by her daughters Pamela Steelman (husband, Jerry) of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Delores “Becky” Cockerham (husband, Greg) of La Plata, Maryland; grandchildren Michael Wagner (wife Angie) of Zanesville, Ohio and Joshua Cockerham (wife Jessica) of La Plata, Maryland; a great-grandson Caleb Cockerham of La Plata, Maryland and one sister Audrey Lenore King of Sutton, West Virginia.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May10, 2017)at Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bryon Bukovesky officiating. Interment will follow services in the Heater’s Cemetery.
