Norman Russell Churchfield, 73, of French Creek, WV passed away March 1, 2017 at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Hospital in Clarksburg, WV. He was born November 26, 1943 to the late George N. Churchfield and Alfreda Keppal.
Those left to cherish his memory are his companion and caretaker, Emily A. Brady; brother, Larry Churchfield, Pitcairn, PA; sisters Dorothy Gold Smith, Duquesne, PA and Bonnie Estochin; many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Churchfield served his Country in the United States Army as a Specialist Communicator and fought during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed watching movies, gameshows, comedy and westerns. He was a happy go lucky Gentleman who loved animals, especially Snoopy is Beagle. He enjoyed nature, walking, yard work and flowers.
Per Mr. Churchfields wishes, his body will be cremated. There will be a graveside service announced at a later date. Words of comfort and fond memories can be shared with the family at stockert-paletti.com.
