Reba Gray  Ratliff
Reba Gray Ratliff, 90, of Orlando, WV entered her Eternal Home at 2:00 p.m. December 31, 2016 at the Braxton County Nursing Home where she had resided for six years.
She was born in Braxton County on March 2, 1926 to the late Boyd and Artie Wine Conrad. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Ratliff, on February 14, 1979. Also preceding her in death were five brothers, James, Roy, Ben, Delbert, Thomas and five sisters, Ressie Allen, Nina Blake, Patty Allen, Lou Young and Lona Claypoole.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children; sons, Ronnie, Randy and Richard and wife, Leta Ratliff; daughters, Martha Pritt and husband Coy, and Elizabeth “Libby” Swanson. Also surviving are two sisters, Rosa Sisk of Jane Lew and Nancy Singleton and husband William of Orlando, WV; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Reba was a member of the Orlando Baptist Church of in Orlando, WV. She was very active in Church and served as a Sunday School Teacher. She loved writing songs and poetry and spending time with her family. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her family and many, many friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road in Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. The Funeral services will follow visitation at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delmas Singleton officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Heaters, WV. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at stockertpaletti.com.
