Mary Ruth Hacker of Wilsie Road, Frametown, WV passed away on December 28, 2016 at her home. Mary was born on December 29, 1933 at Cowen, WV a daughter of the late Charles Johnson and Olive (Ramsey) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband James Hacker in 1988. Also preceding her in death brother Tom Johnson sisters Betty Cook, Ollalee Connor, Louise Clos and Jeanie Jennings.
Mary Ruth is survived by one daughter Suzie Rollyson and husband Jack of Frametown, one grandson Jamie Rollyson of Morgantown, WV, two great-grandsons Michael and Jordan Coen. Also surviving are brothers Jim Johnson and wife Vera of Frametown and Johnny Johnson of Servia, two sisters Zelda Duffield of Boiling Spring Lake, N.C. and Debbie Johnson of Fountain, N.C. Also surviving her favorite niece Vickey Ball of Parkersburg, and several other nieces and nephews.
Mary Ruth was a Nurse’s Aide at the Gassaway Hospital for 20 plus years. Mary Ruth took great pride in the appearance of her yard she loved to weedeat and make sure her yard was well groomed. She also loved her family greatly and made sure she ended every phone call with I love you. She was also loved to give her opinion. She loved her rose garden she would sit and enjoy them for hours. She will be greatly missed by her neighbors, friends, and family.
Per Mary Ruth Hackers request her body will be cremated and a private graveside services will be held at the Johnson family cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Frametown Volunteer Fire Department: P.O. Box 401, Frametown, WV 26623.
The Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home of Flatwoods, WV will be handling the arrangements for Mary Ruth Hacker.
