Earl Thomas Sprouse, 73, of Glenville, WV departed this life on November 25, 2016 from an extended illness. He was born March 30, 1943 in Copen, WV and was the son of the late Thomas Jackson Sprouse and Mary Sprouse (Teller). Also preceding him in death were sisters, Helen Smith, Ethel Huffman, Nina Derita, Lucille Wines, and Frances, Elizabeth McHenry and one brother, Junior Sprouse; and his son, John Wayne Sprouse.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Spouse; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and John Robinson; sons, Elvis and Don Sprouse of Glenville; daughter Melessia Parsons and significant other Tim Duncan of Buckhannon. Grandchildren, Amanda Fitzpatrick and her significant other Bryan Hardman of Buckhannon, Jeffrey Conrad of Glenville and Joseph Lattea and wife Kasey of Weston and Emilee Sprouse of Buckhannon. His great grandchildren, Jace and Aniyah Hardman of Buckhannon, Brayden Sprouse, Owen and Sadie Lattea of Weston.
He was a Baptist by faith and served as a fire fighter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 11-1p.m. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronzel Roberts officiating.
