Marie June Wilson, 81, of Glenville, WV passed away on September 16, 2016 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was born in Braxton County, WV on March 19, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Don Godfrey and Margret “Maggie” (Ball) Godfrey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Wilson as of June of 1997; grand-daughter, Crystal Wilson in 2009; brothers, William and Kenneth Wilson.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Beverley Wilson and life companion Ronald Conrad of Glenville, WV; son, Chester Wilson and wife Kristy of Copen, WV. Also surviving are grandchildren, Josh Wilson and wife Stacy of Copen, Casey Wilson of Glenville, Ronald Conrad II of Glenville, Kiarra Conrad of Glenville, Shelby Wilson of South Carolina; Great-grandchildren, Kaden Wilson, Kensley Wilson, Cry-tell Wilson, Cloey Wilson. Also surviving are brothers, Charles Godfrey of Michigan, Pete Godfrey of Copen, Donny Ray Godfrey of Kentucky; Sisters, Kate Shaffer of Glenville, and Jenny Crowl of Florida.

Marie enjoyed playing bingo as often as possible and working on puzzles. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed working in her flower gardens, going for walks, and mushroom hunting. She also loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. On Monday, September 19, 2016, Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Edgar Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Ball Cemetery Copen, WV.
