Emmette Harold ""Buddy"" Hurd
Emmette “Buddy” Harold Hurd, 47, of Heaters, WV, departed this life on Monday, August 8, 2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1968, the son of Emmette “Bud” Hurd and Wilma (Criner) Hurd, in Baltimore, MD.
He is survived by his son, Dustin Hurd and a sister, Leasa Crump (Scott), of Flatwoods, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Jordan Batton, Olivia, Erika, Elizabeth and Ethan Crump.
He enjoyed tinkering with cars and go-carts. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and guns. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed trading different things with different people.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road in Flatwoods, WV 26621 from 5:00-8:00 pm. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
