Obituary for Roy Dowe Exline

Mr. Roy Dowe Exline, 93, died December 6, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, Winston-Salem, NC. Roy was born February 7, 1921 in Falls Mill West Virginia to the late Franklin Lot and Elma Bowyer Exline. He was a WWII Navy veteran where he served in the South Pacific. Roy was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of Camden Lodge #107 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. He retired from Eastern Airlines where he worked in Ground Services.
In addition to his parents Roy was preceded in death by his wife Opal Perry Exline; one son Randel Morgan Exline; two sisters Wandah Walters and Edna Bosley.
He is survived by two sons; Lott Exline of Thomasville, and Christopher Perry Exline (Susan) of Winston-Salem; one sister Freda Young of N. Wilkesboro; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren
Family will receive friends for a Graveside Service with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #33 on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at the Falls Mill Cemetery with President William Agard officiating.
