Obituary for Bill Ernest James

Bill Ernest  James
Bill Ernest James, 85, of Tesla, Passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born on January 6, 1929 in Clarksburg, West Virginia a son of the late Doy James and Bertha (Cutlip) James. In addition his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty (February) James on February 23, 2013.
Bill is survived by one daughter Greta White who has been his caregiver since his wife’s passing. Also surviving are two sons Rick James of Mimms, FL and Tommy James and wife Diof Greer, SC. Also surviving are grandchildren Misty Merchant, Candy Loiselle, great-grandchildren Madison Merchant,ianne Morgan Merchant, and Harper Loiselle. In addition to his children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren Bill is survived by one brother Richard James and wife Diane of Berlin Heights, OH.
Mr. James was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Sutton. Bill served his is County in the United Sates Army in Germany. After the military he worked for Ford Motor Company in Ohio where he retired with 30 years of service. After retirement he moved back to Tesla, WV where he has lived for the past few years. Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and his four-wheeler. He liked his “Big Boy Toys”.
Family will receive friends at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home 225 Main Street, Flatwoods, WV 26621 on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 6-8p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2013 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Sutton at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow services In the Braxton Cemetery in Sutton with full Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post 33.
